Update on Vietnam Học Institute
Geneva-based Vietnam Hoc Institute (VHI Geneva) was initiated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung who spent over fifty years collecting memories of Vietnamese cultures and traditions. Over 1500 articles written and published by Vietnamese scholars on the topic of Faith, Spirituality and Ethics in Vietnamese Literature were the inspiration for the collaboration with Globethics.net Foundation through Dr. Anh Tho Andres, with the support of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Christoph Stückelberger, its President.
The Vietnam Ethics Series is a co-production of Vietnam Hoc Institute and Globethics Publications on the theme of Education, Cultures and Ethics in the Vietnamese Context. The first volume, ‘Vietnam in Transition: Education, Culture and Ethics. A Reader and Curriculum’ was published in May 2022, followed by the second volume ‘Vietnam Integration: Voices of Teachers’, due to be published by mid-September 2023.
