Vietnamese Language and Culture
Geneva-based Au Lac and the Association Pont-du-Pacifique Les Amis du Vietnam have been active in the preservation of Vietnamese cultures and traditions among the diaspora and strengthening the ties between the French and Swiss-Vietnamese communities.
Impact: In terms of capacity building for Vietnamese educators, between 2005-2020, the Au Lac school has trained over hundred young Vietnamese to read and write Vietnamese. Many young newcomers have been successfully integrated to swiss. life through these trainings.
The Association has now merged its activities with VNTU to organise French classes and free consulting to help young Vietnamese spouse and their children find a good balance between the two cultures.

Capacity Building in Ethics Education for Nha Nau Community
Short Description: In collaboration and with the support of Globethics.net Foundation, VNTU Team in Geneva have conducted many online training seminars on Ethics Education and Capacity Building for teachers and teaching professionals at various levels: both inside and outside Vietnam.
Impact: Between Oct. 2020 - Sep. 2021, we have trained over 100 participants through our webinar on ethics and. building capacity for Vietnamese educators in a changing global context. Participants have also been guided to initiate mini-projets.
VNTU contribution: The learning outcomes have led to the creation of projects on bio-culture, healthy living, and small family projects to survive during the Covid crisis. VNTU members continue to train participants on Human rights and critical thinking, and help raising funds to help the needy through our local and global networks.

Grants for Scholarship on Vietnam
Our training programs include preparatory courses in English-French or German to allow students to seek grants for their research works from donors, scholarship programs or corporations on topics related to Climate Change, Responsible Leadership, Cyber Criminality, Values-based Investment, Corporate Social. Responsiblity, Ethics and Sustainable Development, Peace studies, etc.

AFTA Training and publications
Reports of IRC/ADS past capacity building seminars for participants in ASEAN region are available on topics related to the media literacy, publication ethics, business management practices in ASEAN countries, training of customs officials in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam, as well as lessons learned friom success case studies of Asian tigers (Singapore, in particular). Seminars were conducted and reports of these are useful learning materials for Vietnamese students to learn on business conducting ASEAN.
US-based Scholarship
Research on Viet Tribe Culture
Anthropological studies about the origin of Viet tribes conducted by Professor Luong Kim Dinh that there exists a Viet culture before the arrival of the Han expansion southwards. As this new research trends focus on the distinction between the minorities in Asia, as compared to the great civilisation of the Han tribe according to main stream education, VNTU has facilitated a series of online presentation by Mr. Nguyen Hoe workshop conducted over 8 weeks. This has lead to a publication that is now part of VHI collection on Vietnam Language and Culture.

Building a Library Collection on Vietnam Hoc Studies
Geneva-based Vietnam Hoc Institute (VHI Geneva) was initiated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Historian, based in Vietnam. In collaboration of the Geneva Agape Foundation through Dr Anh Tho Andres and Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Christoph Stückelberger, the VNTU community of teachers and researchers has reached out to a larger audience of international organisations and scholars in the world. The reflections that initially focused on HOW to build up a collection on Vietnam studies are now upgraded to reflections on how to build the premises for a better integration of Vietnam into the world economy. The first book entitled 'Vietnam in Transition: 30 years later...' by Author Dr. Anh Tho Andres, Expert in intercultural communication is due to be published in December 2021 by Globethics.net series of. publications on Vietnam Ethics. Series Editors: Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Historian, Prof. Dr. Christoph Stückelberger, Founder and President of Globethics.net. Managing Editor: Dr Ignace Haaz, Publications Manager of Globethics.net. Dr Anh Tho Andres, VP Operations and volume editor, is assisted by team members in Vietnam, India, Singapore and Geneva.
